Anthropocene denotes the current geological period during which human activity is the dominant influence on climate and the environment.

Anthropo(s)cene deals with instability, fluidity, rigidity, change and choices. These artworks invite transformation; of our emotions, our thinking and our connections with what surrounds us. The artists featured explore processes of deconstruction and reconstruction, revealing the action, the feeling, or the thought behind their work.

The Tangible Sublime explores the refined visual and sensorial characteristics that objects propose. The artists featured elevate everyday objects by applying materials to a standard beyond their original potential. By engaging these mediums, they are assigned new meanings and converted into something of higher significance. The works reference familiar objects and create a tension between accessibility and the sublime.
