Sometimes our city catches us, gleaming in its incongruous architecture and high reaching cranes. Yet it’s built on still painful foundation. The crane can show the city’s constant momentum or its resistance to change. It’s broken systems construct us, but fail to reform to our needs. Misconstructed is a consideration of a place – the paths to and from it. The artists involved offer criticism, coping mechanism, blueprints, dreams and failures.

“To create, one must first question everything.”

-Eileen Gray
